The challenging Grand Elk Golf Club course includes strategically placed – and often challenging – hazards, is an outdoors getaway for all lovers of the outdoors: golfers, fishermen, skiers and hikers.

Reach new heights at an altitude of 8,420 feet when you swing your club on the 18-hole, 6,570-yard, part 72 Grand Lake Golf Course. Minutes from Grand Lake and known as the “Crown Jewel of Mountain Courses,” Grand Lake’s championship course is a design product of Henry Hughes and Dick Phelps. Originally, the design was cut through 50-foot tall lodgepole pines; unfortunately the forest is a thinning casualty of the pine beetle outbreak. Yet golfers will still be challenged with subtle greens and thick growth lining the fairways.
